On the coldest night of winter, a man driving home noticed something barely moving beside the road.
At first, he thought it was a pile of snow.
Then it lifted its head.
A tiny deer was frozen in the ice, shaking so badly it could barely breathe.

The man wrapped it in his coat and carried it home.
For three days, he fed it, warmed it, and slept beside the fireplace to keep it alive.
By the fourth morning…
the little deer was finally strong enough to stand.
But when the man opened his front door to let it back into the forest…
he froze.
Because standing silently outside his cabin were more than twenty deer.
And right in the middle of them…
was a massive white stag staring directly at him.
PART 2 IN COMMENT
The man slowly opened the cabin door.
The entire forest had gone silent.
More than twenty deer stood in the snow staring at him.
But the giant white stag in the middle never moved.
The little deer beside the fireplace suddenly ran outside toward them.
The man smiled softly…
until he noticed blood on the baby deer’s leg again.
Then the white stag stepped forward.
And for the first time, the man realized why they came.
The stag lowered its head toward the forest like it was asking for help.
After following them deep through the snow, the man discovered a trapped female deer buried beneath fallen branches near a frozen river.
Barely alive.
The baby deer cried out and rushed to her side.
For hours, the man worked in the freezing cold pulling away heavy wood and ice with his bare hands.
Finally, the mother deer stood up weakly.
Before disappearing back into the forest, the giant white stag turned toward the man one last time.
Then slowly bowed its head.
As if saying thank you.
