The Train That Stopped in the Middle of a Desert for No Reason

A passenger train was crossing a long stretch of desert when it suddenly came to a complete stop.

No station.

No signal.

No warning.

Just silence.

Passengers looked around confused.

The conductor tried contacting control, but there was no response.

Outside the windows, there was nothing but endless sand.

Then a child sitting by the window pointed and said:

“There’s someone out there.”

Everyone turned.

At first, they saw nothing.

Then, slowly, a figure appeared in the distance.

Standing perfectly still.

Waving.

The train crew immediately checked the route map.

There should be no one for hundreds of kilometers.

The train horn sounded.

No reaction.

The figure just kept waving.

Closer zoom through the window revealed something impossible.

The person looked exactly like the train conductor.

Older.

Wearing the same uniform.

And then the train’s internal system suddenly printed a message:

“DO NOT MOVE UNTIL I REACH YOU.”

Part 2 in the comments.

The train conductor stepped closer to the window, completely pale.

“That uniform… that’s mine.”

The figure outside began walking toward the train.

Step by step across the burning sand.

But something was wrong.

As he got closer, the passengers noticed his face was burned and dust-covered… as if he had been walking for days.

The train systems suddenly unlocked all doors.

Against protocol.

The doors opened automatically.

A warning flashed on every screen:

“ENGINE FAILURE IN 3 MINUTES.”

The conductor realized the truth.

The man outside wasn’t a threat.

He was a future version of him.

And he had come back to stop the train from derailing in the next few minutes.

The moment the figure reached the train…

Everything went black.
