The camera revealed a young owl resting in the grass at the center of the circle.
Its wing had been injured, preventing it from flying before dark.
The sheep never touched it.
They simply gathered around it until nightfall, creating a barrier against curious foxes and stray dogs passing nearby.
After local wildlife rescuers treated the owl, it was released back into the forest.
The following evening, the sheep grazed normally again.
The mysterious circle never appeared another time.
