I Found a Hidden Phone in My Hotel Room

I checked into my hotel room after a long day of traveling.

Everything seemed normal.

Until I heard a phone vibrating.

The strange part?

It wasn’t my phone.

I searched everywhere.

Then I found an old smartphone hidden inside a bedside drawer.

The screen was cracked.

No password.

Just one unread message.

The timestamp was from earlier that day.

Curious, I opened it.

What I read made me call the front desk immediately.

Part 2 in the comments.

The message said:

“If you found this phone, please don’t throw it away.”

At first I thought it was a prank.

Then I opened the photo gallery.

The phone was full of vacation photos from all over the world.

Paris.

Tokyo.

New York.

Rome.

There were thousands of pictures.

Near the end of the gallery, I found a photo of a handwritten note.

It explained everything.

The owner had accidentally left the phone behind during a trip months earlier.

They had spent years collecting memories on it and hoped someone would eventually find it.

I gave the phone to the hotel manager.

A few days later, they contacted the owner.

The phone was reunited with its owner after traveling halfway around the world.

What started as a strange vibration in a hotel drawer ended with someone getting years of memories back.
