Every night…
A stray dog appeared outside the same hospital window.
He never barked.
Never left.
Just sat there… staring at one room.
Nurses tried to chase him away.
He always came back.
Rain.
Cold.
Snow.
Nothing stopped him.
One nurse finally followed his gaze…
And looked inside the room.
A young boy was lying in bed.
Unconscious.
Connected to machines.
And at that moment…
The monitor suddenly started to beep faster.
The nurse froze.
Because the dog outside…
Had started whining exactly the same way.

The boy had found the dog weeks earlier near a road accident.
He had carried him home and begged his parents to keep him.
But the boy’s accident happened days later.
The dog had been brought to the hospital once…
and after that, he never left.
Every night he stayed outside the window…
waiting for the only person who ever saved him.
When the boy finally opened his eyes…
the first thing he saw was that same dog outside the glass.
His hand lifted weakly toward the window.
And for the first time in weeks…
the dog wagged his tail.
