At first, the farmer thought the horse was frightened.
Then he heard it.

A tiny kitten had fallen through a damaged section of the roof and become trapped between wooden beams.
The cries were too quiet for humans to hear from outside.
But not for the horse.
Workers carefully opened the wall and rescued the kitten.
The horse immediately walked into the barn afterward.
As if the problem had finally been solved.
The farmer later said he’d owned horses for thirty years.
