Every night before bed…
A little girl opened her bedroom window.
Even during the coldest winter nights.
Her parents kept closing it.
She kept opening it again.
One night, her father decided to find out why.
What he saw outside the house left him completely speechless.
PART 2 IN COMMENT
The father waited until everyone was asleep.
Just before midnight, he saw his daughter quietly open the window again.
Then she placed a small blanket on the windowsill.
Curious, he looked outside.
A tiny orange kitten appeared from the darkness.
The kitten climbed onto the windowsill and curled up in the blanket.
His daughter gently stroked its head.
The father learned that the kitten had been abandoned weeks earlier.
Every night, while the family slept, his daughter made sure it had a warm place to rest.
She even saved pieces of her lunch to feed it.
The next morning, the father took the kitten to a veterinarian.
A few days later, the family officially adopted him.
When they told the little girl, she burst into tears of happiness.
The kitten was no longer alone.
And neither was she.
