A single mother bought a $20 wedding dress from a thrift store.
It was for her daughter’s school play.
As they walked outside, an elderly woman froze when she saw the dress.
Then she started crying.
“Where did you find that?”
The mother pointed to the store.
The woman covered her mouth.
She recognized it immediately.
PART 2 IN COMMENT ❤️
Sarah couldn’t afford an expensive costume for her daughter’s school play.
At a thrift store, she found a beautiful wedding dress for only $20.
It was perfect.
As they left the shop, an elderly woman across the street suddenly stopped walking.
Tears filled her eyes.
She rushed over.
“Please… where did you get that dress?”
Sarah explained.
The woman gently touched the fabric.
“This was my daughter’s wedding dress.”
Twenty years earlier, her daughter had passed away in an accident shortly after her wedding.
The dress had somehow been donated by mistake during a house move.
The elderly woman thought it was gone forever.
When Sarah heard the story, she handed her the dress.
The woman cried and hugged them both.
Some things are worth far more than money.
