Different couples.

the same fox.
Always in the background.
Watching.
Perfectly still.
The wedding venue owner couldn’t explain it.
So one photographer decided to arrive before sunrise.
He wanted to find the fox.

Behind a stone wall near the ceremony garden was a small den.
The fox wasn’t watching weddings.
It was watching its home.
The venue had unknowingly been built beside an old fox den used for generations.
Each spring, the adult fox emerged briefly to check the surroundings before returning underground.
Wedding ceremonies happened to take place at exactly the same time.
The photographs had captured years of the same quiet routine.
After discovering the den, the venue permanently protected that corner of the property.
The fox still appears in photos today.
Only now…
everyone smiles when they notice it.
