Every first snowfall…
a wild deer appeared outside an old man’s cabin.
It never asked for food.
It never came close.
It simply stood there…
watching him.
For nine years…
the same thing happened.
Then one winter…
the deer didn’t come alone.
What was standing beside it…
brought the old man to tears.
👇 PART 2 IN COMMENT
Nine years earlier…
the old man had found a tiny fawn trapped in a frozen river.
Its mother had disappeared.
He wrapped the shivering animal in his coat, carried it home, and cared for it until spring.
When the snow melted…
he opened the gate.
The young deer looked back one last time…
then disappeared into the forest.
Everyone said he’d never see it again.
But every winter…
the deer returned.
It never wanted food.
It simply stood outside the cabin for a few quiet minutes before leaving.
As if it had never forgotten.
Then, on the ninth winter…
the deer arrived with a tiny fawn walking beside her.
She gently nudged the little one toward the old man.
The frightened fawn took a few careful steps…
and rested its nose against his hand.
The old man smiled through tears.
It wasn’t just a visit.
It was a mother introducing her child…
to the man who had once saved her life.
