Every afternoon…
the same wild eagle swooped down…
and stole a little girl’s sandwich.
Her father was furious.
The neighbors wanted to scare it away.
But the girl said,
“Please… don’t hurt him.”
Then one day…
she secretly followed the eagle into the forest.

made every stolen lunch worth it.

Instead of eating the sandwich…
it tore it into tiny pieces.
Hidden beneath the branches was a nest.
Three hungry chicks stretched their necks toward their mother.
One chick had an injured wing and couldn’t fly.
The little girl watched in silence as the eagle fed every bite to her babies.
The next morning…
she packed an extra sandwich.
Then another.
Soon, the whole village learned the truth.
Instead of chasing the eagle away, they built a feeding platform at the edge of the forest until the chicks were strong enough to fly.
Weeks later…
the eagle stopped taking lunches.
But every afternoon…
it circled once above the girl’s house…
as if saying,
“Thank you.”
